Some things i believe i should thank God for

Hello dudes and dudettes...

Well its the week where our dear 3 frens have their birthdays all within a week of each other.
So since everyone's busy and its soooooo hard for us to meet up, i first wanna wish the 3 of you

HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY!!!!

:)

Although its the period where i should feel extra broke... i havent gotten down to get ur gifts a little due to inertia and a little becos i'm trying to catch up with me readings since i slacked off the 1st 2 weeks. Sorry n thus we will have to "u-tang" ur pressies k?

Well since i believe this blog i supposed to let out the side of us that we really wanna speak out and not hold back ourselves, i will have decided to honestly let this be an outlet to release all my thoughts.
But i once again will say, if u DO NOT wanna read ramblings please dun even bother to read past this point thanks.

Anyway, school has been interesting this sem (when i say interesting, i mean it in the worst way possible...)

So well i have to fulfill 5 modules right?
Well... Heres the breakdown on how much i enjoy each of it...

I super enjoy TOURISM module. I've always loived the subject if u all didnt know and am soo glad to hav an engaging lecturer (THANK GOD FOR HIM!). Wat worries me though is the group i am in for project. Cos i'm afraid they all seem quite slack or unfocused, which sucks for me and my perfectionist nature that never achieves perfection. On top of this, with a grp like this, i might suffer a mental breakdown.

Then theres PHILOSOPHY. Obviously when i was bidding this module i was utterly not thinking right and for a person who hardly reads philo is way too cheem for me... If u use a euphorism, it will be like asking a pig to moo like a cow. Those 2 things will never come together. Just like my level of intellect since i'm way to simple mided for all the hint of sarcasm and genius written by the grat philosophers in the world.
That seriously worries me.

Next there are 2 modules which i believe have an interest for, (which is good i guess) but have the most boring lecturers ever! I stupidly thought that foreign lecturers will engage me completely and i would hav the uttermost respect for them. Obviously it didnt come out that way. They are the utter most monotous lecturers ever. My german lecturer for my UNDERSTANDING GLOBALISATION module put weird stresses in his speech and taking that away is super blady monotous. Then there is GEOGRAPHY OF SOCIAL LIFE module. The most interesting thing abt my Australian lecturer is that she has a huge belly gonna explode any moment since she's pregnant. I cant help but stare at her stomach during the lecture cos thats the most intriguing thing to me. This means that for these 2 mods i would have to have a great reliance on my readings to do well... Thank god once again that my tutor for the understanding globalisation module is real good and detailed. My cousin and i who are in the same tutorial were soooo relieved that we had a good tutor. You couldnt imagine our faces when we saw that our lecturer wasnt our tutor! I believe that God is certainly showing some light upon this issue and giving me little blessings along he way to keep me on the right path.

Finally is the worst of all modules! I made the dumbest move to pick a modules becos of 2 reasons which i will never do again.
1. My frens wanted to do the module together
2. It fitted into my tiimetable well.
I didnt even read the sypnopsis when i signed up for it man which i sooo regret. PLUS! It doesnt help that i have another lecturer who speaks to us like primary school children and is super long winded. I guess he's real nice and all but too sugary for me. PLUS so far whatever he's teaching does not interest me at all. I guess i will never have the patience n calmnes to become a social worker. Thus this module is such a mismatch for me once again.

Well anyway... Just to let u all know. I most likely will be confirmed leaving Spore from 14 May to 25 June to attend a Thailand field studies module. I decided to do it so that i can extort MORE money from my miserable MOE Award haha! Just kiddin... (Even tho they are like paying 1000 bucks out of the 1400 i suppose to fork out hahaha!) I beilieve that God had a hand in this and this is certainly what i should thank him for. However, to be honest, i somehow dunno why i feel almost no sense of happiness. Shouldnt i be joyful, elated?

Right now i have to say that the TV is my BIGGEST distraction from my studies. Especially with the return of AI. It somehow has begun to make me blur out the fantasy and real world all over again. Ok u might be totally confused by what i just said. But well i guess i would be too. I cant help but feel a sense of regret. If u truly undrestand wat i say, all i can say that a part of me died or is being surpressed when i took up the MOE Award. Happy putting the pieces together if u can figure out all this gubbled nonsense. But if u are truly my friend u will understand wat i say...

Oh well so this is wat is happening in Jared's World.
Please excuse this very abrupt ending to the end of this post cos this post was ritten over a period of 2 weeks and i can never finish it but am quite sick of writing and do not want my hard work to go to waste... so TADA!

Thank you for wasting (if u have) 10 mins of your life reading Nickless beating abt the bush...
Ciao!

NickLess

NickLess would also like to say to Jacq that he will miss seeing her on MSN! SO sad!!!
Oh well i guess all good things must come to an end...

And yes Reynard i'm not biased at all ok? I TRULY becoming muddleheaded. Even my mum says so, she says i'm getting whinier and whinier by the day! She says its due to the decline of my physical health due to my inactive couch potato lifestyle haha!
