So this is a start first ok? Will tell you all more about my job and my hair in the n4ext blog, ciao and take care guys!
Off to the US of A
Hey Guys, In a few hours time, I'll be gone. Haha. So I just wanna thank all those who will be coming down to see me off even though I'll be gone for only 2 months. Thanks for all the effort to come down early in the morning. Congrats cause we posted more post in 2006 than 2005 and 2004 combined. Keep it up and don't just compliment each other. Make sure everyone works hard at updating each other. Its the fastest way to reach everyone'. Hopefully I'll post some pics when I'm in US. Let you all know I'm in safe hands. Dunno why I'm still up.
Anyway, Thank you all for your prayers. I passed my TP. So relieved. Was very nervous at 1st. But thank GOD everything went smoothly. Thought my circuit would kill me but the road was the one where all my points came from. Mostly to do with road hazards and not slowing down when approaching cyclist. Anyway will be driving on the highway later cause I'm driving to the airport. Woohoo. Can't wait to go US man. So many things to do and it might be quite sometime before I actually go over cause I think I'll stay put in Singapore and maybe do my masters overseas. See how it goes. Most prob will go over to visit del and go on road trips with JH.
Watched XMen today. Missed the child cause timing was bad. Waited so long at the driving centre. So sad the ending man. So many people died. Jean looks really unglam as the pheonix man but she is so powerful. The cartoon version was nicer. Haha. Been running around for appointments and settling NUS stuff and driving on monday. Glad its all over. Just want to really thank the Lord for his provision. Thanks Jared for blogging so often now and Elvin, there is nothing wrong with JH yakkity yakking here. This is supposed to be a common place where we talk anyway. Thank you pal for organising that dinner and the mahjong was fun although felt a bit sick of it after a while esp when Jared started sweeping away all our money. Next time must bar Jared from playing. Haha. Is there anything you all want from the US? actually its not too late. You can always email me your list or put it or tag me. Will see you all in 2 months time and Jared, I'm dragging you for all the activities I wanna join when school starts whether you like it or not!

*haha arent i corny???*
Since i'm so bored at home i've taken the liberty to blog more often... even making it like part of a 9 to 5 job on weekdays so i can pre-occupy myself with something.

Will get ready a packet of tissues for u k reynard?
Then thereafter will have to go meet a jc friend that i havent met even she lives just a few steps away from me...

I am still considerin if i should go to choir prac lookin at the condition of my throat.
I was quite sad when i was rehearsing my songs for syc today cos it kept cracking!

Hey again peeps...
THANK YOU!
Would like to sincerely thank Mr Pua for openin up his house yesterday.
Special thanks to his dad and maid for the scrumptious dinner! Yum Yum!!! :)
I consider myself a food connosieur (or more like a glutton! hahaha! Think it runs in the WONG genes. All my uncles are wat i considered well fed, prosperous or simply FAT! Argh... at the rate i'm going i soon will be joining them... Bleah!)
I have always felt fortunate that even though my mum rarely cooks, i have friend's parents who are exceptional cooks and always invite me over for amazing makan!
-------> Special thanks to again Jianhong's dad n maid, and of course how can we not forget Reynard's Mum! (Her tiramisu cake is to DIE FOR!!!)
Thank you so much for treating us like family.
Also wanna thank Jianhong's mum yesterday. Even though she wasn't feeling well yesterday, she was still so warm to us! hope that we didn't disturb you with our mahjong game even though you were having a bad headache. haha!
I was a lil under the weather yesterday... hope that i wasn't being a wet blanket. If i was i'm sorry. But was really glad to be able to meet up with you guys.
Here as i'm typing an entry... my nose continues to leak like a broken tap. Haha! Hope to get well soon.
Have choir practice on wed and sat again and got a wedding to sing for on saturday also, plus sunday's mass will be an exceptionally long one since its confirmation mass.
And our dear reynard will be leavin on wednesday morn... So looks like another EVENTFUL week for dear Jared again haha...
Oh yes before goin to Jianhong's house yesterday i was watchin the movie HONEY on HBO at home. And i think the show is really cool (especially for Qing since you're takin dance classes...). But Jessica Alba's acting sucked man... but she's HOT! So sad my schedule couldn't fit in dance classes with Qing. Damn! Oh yes and Qing if you read this entry... YOU OWE US ONE FOR THE LONGEST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow... This is so exciting.. There are so many posts.. I feel updated.. Haha.. Am waiting for the amazing raise to start so I thought I'd blog here. Yea..Am involved in this "The Amazing RAISE" thing in Uni, we're rasing money for the children's hospital by getting people to participate in the amazing race style game. really fun.
Glad to hear that you guys are doing great up there..(And I mean Singapore relatively..).. Sorry for not blogging here often (read: at all) but I hardly even can manage my own blog. And yes JH, I totally agree, blogging is a chore. It is so much more fun if everyone writes letters or talk on to phone, but I guess blogging is the only way to reach the masses. Haha.. I agree too on the blogskin too..
And slacker, I didn't complain about not having my link on this blog, what I said was, only 3 names were mentioned on the blog owners. There's a difference ok, and I think an aspiring young handsome lawyer should take extra note of such wordings. And all the best for your driving test, praying for you, and for your trip to the US as well, and yea, that your parents will be able to find a good place. (Thanks for taking down the link)
SG, what happened man! Read your blog about the abstain from list and the gouty issue... You better now? Take care pal..
J, how can you be doing nothing!? Get back up and sing for the Lord! Haha..
Qing, erm... where are you??
Yep, you guys take care!

WOW
Wow... first time posting here in like 10 million years????
BLEAH.... =P
Anyway, I'm posting here cause I'm postively sick in office staring at the computer for 8 hours everyday doing absolutely nothing. This is a shitty job at Biopolis I tell you cause there's absolutely no work for me to do at all.
And so, yeah, I have no plans for today. Probably go library return books and then head home for a run. How sad it is lah, no plans on a friday night. BLEAH...
Anyway, PJH, please read my blog to note the things that I CANNOT eat due to my diet ok. Positively bloody long list. Have you even received my SMS a not? I SMSed you like 2 days ago lah, and here you are yackding away with the other guys...
OK, looking forward to see you all on Sunday night.
Without wax,
SG
PS, I'm glad Taylor Hicks won too! He's good ok. Hahaha... don't think I never watch AI. But I'm not crazy as you people. Hahahaha....
Thursday, May 25, 2006 . 10:54 AM
Mr Hicky
Mr Hicky has won thereby almost evening out the gender biasness towards girls being winners on AI. I seriously can't imagine how he would look like on a CD cover giving that very contorted look. Haha. OK. I'm mean. But he did sing well. Gave me goosebumps. Kat was good too but you win some and you lose some. Just discovered that my boss isn't very truthful but I shan't say more cause I haven't heard both sides of the story. Haiz. Things people do sometimes.
JH, you can pass me the add of the blogskin and whatever and I'll help to change it. For your info, the entries won't be deleted cause you are only changing the template. So its ok. But save the links and stuff 1st. I wasn't being testy and what kind of word is testy anyway. Del was commenting that my farewell dinner was so drama. haha. I think she is just jealous. Haha. Oops. Think I just earned myself a beating.
Jared, posting lyrics and pictures are not counted as entries. If thats the case then I have posted loads of entries then.
2nd last day at work. Parents going to view a house today. Oh. Did I tell everyone that I'm moving out soon. Can't wait. Need my own space. Never got a room of my own before. So pathetic right. Always been sleeping with my bro or parents. Sounds weird but it allows me to be closer to my parents act. Like whatever they say I will know whats going on. Yeah. They going to the same apartment where we lived before we moved here. Foh Pin Mansion. Near Hougang St 21. But this time its a level below from we lived last time. Tomorrow following them to view another house.
Please pray for my driving test people on the 30th of May. Its at 1145am. Oh. Speaking of prayer, go visit this site. www.prayforiran.com . Its a 40 days of prayer and fasting for Iran. Please pray for them. We know how the situation is like now. I wanna give a shout out to all those who helped me get back on track. Firstly to God who has kept me in His warm embrace and has never let me go. Never forsaking me. Thank you God for sending me people who have kept me on track and gave me that occasional push. Thank you Matt for inviting me back and those heart to heart talks. Appreciate the effort. Thank you WB for giving me that much needed push back then. That chiding was so necessary to wake me up. Thank you JH for always encouraging me with those postcards and messages when I was so lost and felt low. That really lifted my spirits up. Even though I know sometimes we may feel helpless at certain situations that our friends may encounter but I encourage each and everyone of you to speak boldly and conviction and to always rely on the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to guide our every word and actions. Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind each and every single day.
Been thinking about people lately. I feel sad for some people who constantly seek recognition from Man and are so conscious of the world. Yes we are born in this world but we as christians are not of this world. Not to say we are high and mighty but more of like we are not supposed to compromise our values just to suit the world. Thats is why we are always persecuted and mocked at. People will always seek something to fill that void in their lives and they go about life, chasing what everyone is chasing and at some point of their lives, I'm sure they will start to question why are they doing all this for. I mean if you think about it, people are born to work. when you are young, you study and you spend the next 3/4 of your life slogging. Whats the point of it all when you don't have God. Life would be so meaningless. I hope I haven't offended anyone and I am certainly not a religious bigot. I totally respect people's decision and I'm not trying to impose anything on anyone cause I really believe that only God can work in that person and our mission is to talk to that person and also follow up. Most importantly is winning people through our actions and not just empty words.

cool it man
wait a minute guys... all of a sudden this blog has become too hot to handle. Rey, sounding abit testy there. It's ok. I thought to changing the blogskin. Came across some very nice ones but I didn't really know how to copy and paste all the java script, (is that right, pardon my very horrible IT jargons) in case I ruin all the hardwork you guys have put in the blog. I personally prefer one that allows us to see the title, but i think we can sort that out later. Oh well, KUDOs jared for finally adding an entry there. We still have to get qing and elvin to participate, but these people already have their own blogs. Just like Wilbur. (Wilbur = WB) rite??? So I guess they just don't see the need to update in this blog since they already have a blog of their own to maintain, so I don't blame them. Anyway, I still maintain that blogging is a chore! LoL And Jared, what concert are you perfoming this saturday.
As for the others, (sorry WB), farewell dinner for Rey is on this Sunday at my place. I'll be part of the cooks involved in Sunday's home spread! HAHA..... Still picking up cooking from my Dad and maid. No need to RSVP coz you are all in. You guys can come over at around 6pm, should be ok... come earlier better, so we can 'kai1 tai2' earlier! Qing (i know you probably might not read this, but by any stroke of luck), please bring the mahjong set along to my place. We must play till the North winds then can call it a day OK!!??!!
Have not been feeling very pensive these day, coz I haven't got much time to do some self-reflection. Don't have much 'inspirational' stuff to encourage you guys yet, but I will be back! haha... thanks for posting guys. pls keep this blog alive.
love,
dash
Here Goes...
WB, What the heck la. 1st you complain I never put your name 1st then now you want it removed but anyways I did what you wanted so no intruding eyes can ever see your blog again through this blog. J, why do you alert me only? I do not know why it doesn't show the title. I'm not a computing expert you know. When we go uni, then you better join whatever activities I join. Get off your bum man.
2 more days before I leave this company. 6 more days before my driving test and 7 days before I leave the US. So exciting ya. Will miss everyone here but no worries. I will be back. Yesterday, my colleagues brought me out for dinner. We went to Pariss at Marina Square. Wanted to pay for it but they said no need. Then after dinner, JP drove maggie and me back cause we stayed the nearest to him. So nice of him. Enjoyed myself here. Really nice bunch of people.
Been writing long emails the past few days. Haha. Hope everything turns out fine for you, Matt. I was thinking about how people change over the years. Then I started nitpicking on my own weaknesses. I wanna change too. This might sound dumb but firstly I want to waste less/save more water. Yihan would kill me. Haha. I think I like to waste water. Secondly, I want to be more humble. Thirdly, I want to be more motivated. Procrastinate less. Feel so psyched to go back to uni but I hope the flame doesn't die off after like the 1st sem. Next, I would like to be more punctual. Haha. I think this point would receive the most cheers and nods cause I am a perpetual late comer. So sorry to all those who have waited hrs for me. Love you all man. Haha. I want to be less rebellious and more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and I know that only God can truly transform me. Life is a constant journey. Knowledge is power as they say but nothing beats wisdom from God. It surpasses all worldly knowledge. I mean I'm not trying to preach or anything but I truly am humbled by God. It took me so long to get to where I am now but I still thank the lord for his mercies and grace. Remember that God has given you everything you need.
God has blessed me with a stupendous family with loving parents. He has transformed my dad and I really thank him for the people I meet everyday. For my friends and for Del. He has clothed me and fed me. Thats why I'm like flabby now. He has put a roof over my head and He has been there for me every step of the way. For all those out there who are currently going through some crisis and may be questioning the Lord, I wish to encourage you. God has a plan for each and every one of us. He loved you even before time began. He is all-powerful and all-knowing. He knows we will have doubts and I believe its not wrong to doubt but whats most important is our response to that doubt. We must not be like infants, tossed and turned by the waves and swayed by false teachings and prophets. Trials and tribulations are meant to build up one's character. It has moulded me to what I am today.
Every decision and every obstacle I have faced has shaped and influenced me in one way or the other. God has given you the things you have cause of his love and grace for us. We do not deserve it so its a bonus if we have it. Its like asking our parents for sweets. We love it but our parents knows whats best for us so they say NO. We may hate them for a while and give them the cold shoulder for a few days but we must learn to be less myopic and look beyond the horizon.
I feel that usually people feel detached from God cause there is an obstacle there. God is forever reaching out to you. Its a matter of whether you want to reach out your hand to Him. Seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him. More often than not pride among other things has kept me away from God. I believe a lot of people struggle with that. I mean without pride, whats left of a person right but let me tell you this. Alot of things can be derived from pride. Unforgiveness is one. Its this hatred that drives people to think that they are more powerful but in fact they are empty inside. Only when we overcome this with love, can we truly be released. LOVE is the most powerful thing on Earth. It has saved you and me. On another note, I have been really drawn to this verse recently and would like you all to think about it. What does it mean to you to deny yourself and take up the cross daily? Have you been doing it? Think abt it.

Reminisce
Feels Like Home To Me
- Chantel Kraviezuk
There's something in your eyes
Makes me want to lose myself
Makes me want to lose myself
In your arms
There's something in your voice
Makes my heart beat fast
Hope this feeling lasts
The rest of my life
If you knew how lonely my life has been
And they'll know I've been so alone
And if you knew how I wanted someone to call my love
And change my life the way you've done It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I come from
It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong A window breaks
Down the long dark street
And a siren wails
In the night
But I'm all right
Cuz I have you here with me
And I can almost see
Through the dark there is light
Well, if you knew how much this moment means to me
And how long I've waited for your touch
And if you knew how happy you were making me
I never thought that I'd love anyone so much It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I come from
It feels like home to me
It feels like home to me
It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong It feels like I'm all the way back where I belong

Boredom.
Hey peeps...
Yes i'm still alive and i do apologise for not blogging for like forever.
Well hope this will make up for all the times i didnt blog. Hah!
i realised a fault in this blogskin.
I cant see the title for each entry. Haha!
Reynard: please take note.
Anyway, guess many of you dont know wats going on in my life.
Well... simply put... NOTHING!
COMPLETELY NOTHING!
i have become a couch potato, a bigger slacker than the one using the nick, a FAT SLOB!
Yes.
It has been a progressive journey to this stage.
First, i could initially still find the motivation to go exercise.
hen, lost that but was still willing to walk to the mrt station area to buy food for the family.
Thereafter, i could still bother to cook instant noodles for my meals.
And now, well lunches are watever i can find in the fridge and can be shoved into the microwave.
Isnt that sad?
I know it is but i cant find any motivation to do anything.
My whole metabolism has slowed down.
I'm now not even looking forward to go to school anymore.
It was never the case in army.
I wish someone will ddddrrrrraaaaggg me out of my current life, put me into a place where i will stop wallowing in self pity, find some type of a social life.
Besides this, the only other activities that have been keepin me busy are...
1. Going to church
2. Singing
This has presented some problems. It has made me feel like i've been clammed up in a shell. Like not having any breathing space. I now go to church abt 4 times a week. I ALSO go to choir practices abt 4 times a week. It has reached to a point that it has become a chore doing the above activities that i used to sooo love doing. i wanna leave some things, at least run and hide, explore the rest of the world (if ya get wat i mean) n not be confirned in the space of these 2 activities. Become sportier like go rock climbing? Canoeing? Even dancing? But no here i am stuck in this circle of stuff. I feel like i'm now doing these stuff to please ppl. For one, my mum since she always wanna drag me to church. (how to say no?) For another, my tenor section (i feel like i have an obligation being their SL...). So i'm lost.
But yet, i'm addicted to the tv box.I watch any crappy program on tv.
Oprah is a must every day n tat can run for like 2 hours.
At one point, reality tv shows were flooding the channels from survivor, amazing race, renovate my family.... But now they've ended. There still is so u think u can dance, project runway... Told u i'm addicted... (heeheee!) Someone get me a life!!!!
Lost is the best word to describe me now. I'm totally lost.
oh well besides the stupidity of me dwelling in my misery...
Cant wait to meet up with you all! Please confirm wif me if we are meetin up on fri nite cos i have concert to peform on sat (see wat i mean?). so if u havin sleepover i cant stay but will hang out til as late as i can. So preferably can meet over dinner or something?
And yes i will be late on sunday due to wat else?! CHURCH AND CHOIR! HAHA!
so seeya guys....
thank u esp to reynard n jianhong for keeping the blog alive!
AFRIDASIE!
(if ya didnt know tat is wat host/supermodel heidi klum from project runway says to contestants when they are booted from the show... It means goodbye in german i think... see told u i have no life???)

Bored
Today must do research and I hate doing research on the net cause it is not specific at all. Prefer to use it just for leisure like chatting and stuff. Anyway later going for farewell dinner with colleagues. Sit Ling ( this girl on a 6 mnth attachment) and me are leaving soon. She is leaving in June. So they decided to have a dinner. So nice of them. My colleagues are relatively nice people. Good thing its a small office so not much politics but apparently everyone doesn't really fancy the big boss and the word affable does not really come to mind when you see him so ya. Don't really know him so I shan't judge. They did ask me to come back to work during the Dec hols but i shall see 1st cause I really wanna go intern at my aunt Belinda's law firm so we shall see how it goes.
Now I shall tell you a bit about my colleagues. There is Judy who is a filipina and came here 13 yrs ago. Likes to frown alot. Haha but she is nice. She is in charge of the Quality Assurance Dept and she recently got promoted and treated us to KFC Tuesday. Apparently, Tues got promotions on delivery for KFC. Then there is Sandra, who is the Admin person. She is del's bro's friend's sis btw. haha. She didn't recognise me but I could still rem her when she was still working in Meyer Road. Then there is Jian Ping who is from Shanghai and he was from SIM Tech. Likewise with the big boss here, SK Lee. There is KT Foo who is this nice old man but don't really talk to him. Recalled that he was working in Meyer Road too. He is a mormon too. Anyone knows abt mormons? Anyway, there is Sit Ling. She is an NTU bioengineering student from Malaysia and there is my boss, the Accountant and person I wanna "steal skills" from Ms Maggie Chai. Also a malaysian and very nice person. Christian too. Thank God ya. Hope my working environment is not bad in the US but what can go wrong when I was introduced by the CEO of the company but then again I feel like I'm just making use of him and I don't really feel comfortable working for a family member or someone close. Makes it really awkward for both parties I feel.
Anyway, yesterday went out with Nat again and watched 2 movies. Haha. We improved from meeting once every 6 mnths to once every 2 mnths to once every 2 wks. HAHA. Watched Da Vinci Code and Over the Hedge. (Sorry JH) but it was quite expected. I mean like so overly hyped and I wasn't really blown away and gushing over it like I did for V for Vendetta. That was a powerhouse I tell you. I like the turtle in OTH.
Vern is so cute man. Hammy is real nutty. His love for cookies is comparable to " I like grapes" . Then even Avril is in it. She is voicing over Heather the Possum whose dad loves to act dead when he senses danger is near and the porcupine babies are really funny too.

"ARE YOU SURE THEY WON???" Even Phil's suspicious.
*Phil's trademark - mopping of an eyebrow*
Caught the TAR finale repeat telecast on Friday night ('fortunately', since our night gathering was cancelled so I could ensconce myself like a couch potato and catch my fave reality tv.) Although it has been running for 9 seasons, TAR sure hasn't lost its lustre (at least for me...). There just so many many places and incredible things to do on such a race around the world. Sigh, and yes, the funny guys won. Much to my dismay.
And Rey, the team I supported in the first season won ok.... and Flo and Zach? haha... Ok, anyway, still kudos to Eric and Jeremy for being one the most consistent and competitive racer ever in TAR's history. They maintained first place for most part of all the legs of the race, till a mile or so from the finish. Just a bad challenge for them but I think the last road block's kindda cool. The producers shouldn't have give them help!!! Haha. Ya, and brains is as important as brawns in TAR. But I totally agree with BJnTyler, the part about absorbing oneself in the trip, to make friends and soak up what the world has to offer. That's the whole essence of travelling, imo. And after 8 seasons, they finally went Japan!!!! ARGH..... When will I be able to go??? Mt Fuji looked absolutely stunning straight from the google box, and I surely believe the real one's a million times better. NIHON E IKITAI!!!!!
ok, TAR will be missed dearly - for now.
Met a senior who studied in UWM a few years back to find out more about life in UWM. So excited at the prospect... Met a childhood friend yesterday (who is studying in NY, now back for summer hols) also and had a great time catching up. May has been quite a good month for me... except for one particular incident... just that one.
"i think i left a part of me by the river... anyone seen it?"
Cambodia trip with my army friends is likely to be off, but still I AM GOING BY MYSELF... Gonna be one AMAZING adventure, by myself! haha... Take care peeps. You are dearly loved by me! ;p

Locked
Guess what? I got locked in my own house today. Imagine if a fire broke out. I would be dead by now. Recently I lost my house keys or rather I'm pretty sure I misplaced them at home but now I can't seem to find them and since I should be staying in the hostel and we are moving out soon (hopefully) by end of the year so I figured that there was no point in making a new bunch of keys and I could just share keys with my parents. But of course this is quite inconvenient.
I slept quite late and been waking up early the past few days. Yesterday woke up early, 730am in fact to go for NUS open house with Ming Hui and Yutian. Thanks for coming down with me,buds. Yutian came for only half an hr and had to leave cause he had work to do. Apparently he works in those tiny shops selling pancakes and finger food inside Giant and he says its very fun cause he is alone and usually got no customers. How is that fun man? Anyway he only gets paid like $4.50 an hr. OK. That's quite good already as compared to my $30 a day internship.
Shit. I missed American Idol rerun. NVM. Anyway, I missed church and I was supposed to donate blood today. Shoot. Hmmmm. I got up and got ready for church when I discovered that I was locked in cause they brought the keys out too and there was the padlock outside. So I ended up staying at home. Haiz. Was so looking forward to church. Actually nowadays I am quite excited to go church. OK maybe not excited but as in I usually look forward to it and how God would talk to me this week. I even read my bible in the bus nowadays and apparently nat said I used to laugh at him and sheralyn when they told me they read the bible in the bus, while they on the other hand laughed at me when I said I backslided. I'm really glad God drew me back to him so now I think I should share my experiences with all those who are currently feeling down and out. I'll write it down in my next post.
Been working and meeting people the whole week. Even yesterday when I went for the open house, I woke up early. Stayed there till 6 cause after the talk they had some concert and got lucky draw. Was hoping to win the creative mp3, which according to the emcee is worth 1000 dollars. Yeah right. Ming Hui won something though. Then watched Murder by Numbers and Carrie 2 but felt sleepy so I couldn't tahan then just went to sleep. Sleep deprived I am. Another busy week next week. Tomorrow watching Da Vinci Code with Nat then tues going out with colleagues for a farewell dinner at Pariss in Marina Bay. They have a new branch I think. Wed and thurs I specially blocked it out cause I wanna stay home to watch AI. Haha. Then fri tentatively no plans. Sat going out with JH and having dinner at night with my aunt. Sun going JH house. They having a farewell dinner for me which is well appreciated but quite silly cause I'm only going away for 2 mnths whereas JH is like going FOREVER.
JH, YOU BETTER COME BACK SOON OR YOU WILL REGRET EVER BRINGING YOUR SORRY ASS TO THE US MAN.

Why?!?!
Why didn't they keep Elliot? Such Goons. I mean can you actually imagine Taylor on a cd cover? Nat and me were laughing at how funny it would be. Well 1st was Mandisa then it was Chris. Such shockers. Anyways, Taylor has a 99.9% chance of being the next American Idol. He is by far the most popular and has charisma which Kat sort of lacks. Well he is one loony fella man. But conqrats to him.
Yay. The funny guys won TAR. haha. not bad.Pull yourself together Dash. Its not the 1st time your favourite team hasn't won. Work has been a bore. Well I learnt how to use excel better. I learnt how to do spreadsheet. Had to make a mindmap thingy and filing system and making of labels and stuff. Everyday just typing stuff. Been keying in data for complaints made by customers of Surgilance. The americans have such weird names man. Speaking of names, I saw Evans Road just now. Cool. Apparently, I have a road named after me too. * Beams* Terry showed me. Its in Aust though. haha. Well this goes out to everyone (As the Aussies says it) " Now where the bloody hell are you?" Everyone is missing in action. Jared and Weibin can you all blog or write something to let us know you all are fine. Qing also another one.
As usual, our stayover has been postponed. I think by the time I go US and come back, the stayover wouldn't have materialised yet. So tiring. Been going out everyday to meet people and sleeping late and waking up early. Met so many weird people on buses. Today, there was this guy who was like dressed up for winter la. I mean like it was a sunny morning and he had a pullover, a scarf?!?! and a beanie. Then just a few days ago, I was sitting beside this Indian guy who really smelled bad. I mean like I nearly puked man. I'm not being racist here. I absolutely love all of GOD's creation but ya. That reminded me of when we were on our way to China and Elvin was sitting beside this old couple from China and they too smelled real bad according to Elvin and apparently they kept farting in the plane. haha. That was hilarious and they seemed to be following him as if he were the messiah. Elvin was horrified of course and just wanted to shake them off.
Well, China did have its highs and lows for me. Everyone enjoyed themselves ya. I for one had issues here n there with the gang but its all good now. Sorted things out and it was a load off my chest. I felt like i learnt more about everyone on that trip. It was an eye-opener for sure. We went to most of the usual places like Great Wall, Summer Palace, Forbidden City and Ming Tombs which was by far the suckiest place. Good thing China bans blogger. If not I may be incriminated for whatever I'm about to say. Anyway, most of the places have been certified by UNESCO as being world heritage and what not but they are really not that fantastic. I mean like the architecture and designs are almost similar with dragons and phoenixes and what not. yeah but after a while, it gets really boring. Basically, they are preparing for Olympics now so most of their attractions also undergoing restoration so didn't get to see a few. I don't know but maybe I'm just bias. Haha. But i mean people like to say how to are going back to China to rediscover their roots blah blah but I seriously feel like after the trip, I dont feel any more chinese or less chinese. I mean like....
The food was super oily. The weather was really bad in Beijing. Was super cold and I hate when my fingers go numb. My wisdom tooth was coming out so you can imagine how uncomfortable it was to eat. Thought of having my wisdom tooth plucked out when I got back but thank GOD the pain went away. I would have to pay loads too cause I'm already a civilian. Haiz. Then of course there was some disagreements i had with the guys. So ya. Shanghai was just another city but Jared's uncle was such a gracious host. He has such a nice uncle. He brought us to nice restaurants and we went on a cruise along the famous Bund. Went to an artistic acrobatics performance. Hangzhou was the most scenic of course. The walk along the causeway was really relaxing. Sorry pal that you had to suffer the collateral damage ya.
Coming back, I was so reluctant to spend money cause everything there is so cheap. Food and transport and of course the clothes. Went to all those flea markets and haggling with the vendors was fun. I like to exasperate all those vendors with attitude problems. They would ask for a price and I would just say 50 yuan which is like 10 sing. Then some would curse me and all but I didn't care. Haha. Didn't really buy much stuff for myself. Mostly for other people. Bought the some Olympics memorabilia. The chinese are really smart. They have 5 mascots. Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying and Nini and together, the 5 form the words Beijing Huan Ying Ni which translates to Beijing Welcomes you(for all those chinese illiterates). So innovative and it sure is a money making machine.
Now got sales here and there but I can't spend cause I'm saving up for my trip to the US. So exciting. K i shall write more soon. Hopefully. HAHA.

How come chris is out man. Well at least my final 4 predictions were right. Was rooting for him. Think it will be a Kat and Elliot final with elliot winning the booty. While Terry will win it for Survivor. Anyways for all those who are not well informed, I will be flying off on the 31st of May. Going to visit del and work at her dad's company for 2 mnths. Cool right. Best thing is that her dad offered this internship at his company here and in the US. Will be an opportunity. I am truly blessed really. Have such great people around me. JH, Please blog abt something instead of your hair la. Keep telling us to blog but you so free then also never hear from you.

bad hair
boy! i! need! haircut! hair! in! eyes! driving! me! bananas!
echoeing an exact sentiment from a friend...
am starting to look vaguely beatle-esque. which, in case you were wondering, is Not a Good Thing. very 60s, 70s-ish... and in a recent hostile takeover, my sideburns have enveloped my ears. ears i miss you! not good when you put on earphones, still half asleep in the morning and the first thing you think is OH.MY.GOSH.THERE.ARE.HAIRY.THINGS.IN.MY.EARS. then you realise that it's your own hair.
sigh.... i've never had a hair problem as i like to keep it short, neat and manageable. but now, the length and thickness. *bleugh* and when i'm bored, i twirl my sideburns with my index round and round like a magic wand and WALA.... the side burns sticks out like Wolverine!! You remember,?? Hugh Jackman's incredibly bestial looking side burns... yea, mine's close to that.
i woke up this afternoon from a nap, and got commented on my "dragonball" hair (all spiked up = fugly = freakin ugly!! but i couldn't care less) and because of the colour, my hair looks like a dried, burnt up patch of Africa's savanna. and when hair's long, it takes much much longer to dry and it seems to drop way too easily!!! no good. :(
which brings me to my point, and i'm reminded once again (thanks j) that
I NEED A HAIR CUT!
