Long Wkend

Yet another long wkend. Managed to finish all my entries which has been greatly reduced so I'm pretty relieved. Went to this New Orleans Restaurant for lunch called "Some Like It Hot" and it was pretty impressive. Heavily french influenced. Very creamy. I had some Red Bean Pancake and it was tantalising to the senses as it was sweet yet salty. But I had the most amazing Creme Brulee. Words won't do it justice and it looks very normal. Not that I had many but JH you have got to buck up pal. Sorry. Waiting to try Del's one. It was so sweet and absolutely and sinfully indulgent. 2 thumbs up from me. Apparently they serve it in big shallow bowls here unlike Singapore. No wonder people here are so gigantic. Unlike vertically and horizontally challenged Asians.

Yet another piece of good news. No need to go work tomorrow cause Uncle Pat is having a meeting in town and we are bringing Lana to school and going to Emory Village for lunch. Maybe can try Cold Stone Creamery this time. Weather is really hot nowadays and going Charlestown on Saturday. I like working from home but I guess Uncle was not happy with us waking up so late and being so laisse faire. Haha. Learnt a new word. Hurricane season is approaching and I do hope that it doesnt affect Florida too badly. Really like the weather here. Its really like Singapore. Just a little laid back which I totally love and it doesnt experience any major natural disasters. Only thunderstorms. Much like Singapore. Uncle really does his research. He is such a knowledgeable yet humble person. He knows what he wants and he expresses himself really well. I had my 1st meeting at Emory that day. 1st time having a corporate meeting. Guess its a peek of whats to come in life. Thanks for the opportunity Uncle.

Del can't wait for NY. She has been doing research and she found 30 over shops she wants to go. Wonder if we have time. I'm such a TV junkie but at the same time I really think that its really bad for young children. I mean no wonder with all that is going on in the media that children are so easily influenced and it has really caused a moral and social degradation. Its funny and entertaining but that's the scary part. We see it as the norm and no one realy minds. I mean nothing can shock us now. For all you know maybe next time we will be more primitive in the sense that people start walking around nude and no one will mind.
