first day: orientation

it's the first day of orientation and as the Wisconsin Communist Party (WCP), we've agreed to be all clad in the red long tees we got from the university sport shop yesterday. Boy, the morning winds were chilly.
















Orientation was nothing but talks after talks after talks.... *snores* Poor Jie had to tag along. But the day ended well at Famous Dave's BBQ. Excellent mouthwatering BBQ porkribs laced with tangy BBQ sauce so good, it's really the best I've tasted so far! The meat was skillfully grilled to perfection, still retaining its water so it remains succulent and tender. The 'Rich and Sassy' sauce was BBQ sauce nothing like I've tasted before! And the platter you see there, it's for 4 people but we couldn't finish even though we had 6 people sharing it!!! Humongous portion man. Thank you Uncle Vit for the treat! (eh, not cheap leh, USD52 for an All-American Platter!) Pa, Ma, must really bring you guys here when you come over!!!
