army dazzzzzzzzzzzzzze
can't believe i actually fell asleep in the library just now... i was suppose to be studying for the next exam - which i have not quite started yet. oh well, at least i'm done with anthro and biochem. the end is near... i know... i can feel it. i should reward myself with a good night's rest (i think) after surviving 2 major exams. but after the "power nap" in the library, am feeling wide awake now. hm.....
so i just decided to look through some old photos.... wala... i manage to dig out some old photos taken at Sam Hill camp in Australia. now this, this expressed my eagerness to ORD (who doesn't?? ;p) and i "vandalized" my own hatch with green camo cream while waiting for my section to finishi their dismounted mission. Haha.... actually VC (vehicle commanders) can be quite slack during missions but all hell starts when i start servicing the APC. Post mission work - not the most fun thing, but brought back tonnes of memories of us all drenched in dirty water after all the washing. I remember Kenneth - how he'll always complain that somehow or another, I am always the first to get to the hose. We are always one of the last to leave anyway - and when we were done, we'd just sit by the vehicle shed - stone, and talk about life. plans after army, our wildest dreams, how we'll be missing the army after we ORD. I remember Zhenyong. He's the best driver one can ever ask for in my company and I'm really thankful to have him as my driver. His "do chop chop, do sui sui" attitude makes him stand out from other drivers. Though he sometimes take short-cuts to certain things, one must always remember the unspoken rule in army - "Do whatever you want, as long as you don't get caught". Surely, I didn't want to be the anal VC who wants everything done in a cookie cutter manner - you know, by the book? A little bit of flexibility wouldn't hurt. We've been through alot together too. Enduring the searing heat during missions in Singapore, to Ex Wallaby..... and even my final break-track with him one cold night in India. so much has happened in that 2 years.
