I'm Just in the Mood for Bloggin...

Well peeps...

I dun care or not if you dun like MY unoriginal format of bloggin (haha...)
Well, i'm gonna do it again... There's NO STOPPING ME! WAHAHA!
Please excuse my wackiness cos i having my driving test later and trying to pre-occupy myself with as many things as possible so i wont overthink stuff later during my test. (Oh yes please pray for me that if its God's will i will pass thanks!)

Oh yes i did promise u all that i will blog more about my Malaysia trip which i never did.
So here goes!

Malaysia... Truly Asia

I dunno if i already mentioned this but i was so expecting to NOT enjoy myeslf at all on this trip with SYC but in the end it was sooo much Fun, i came back with a closer bond with my existing friends in there and made sooo many more pals! (Well this has caused me to be alarmed at how many ppl i might be inviting for my 21st Birthday that my pocket is gonna run dry!!! mOre details on that soon...)

Well 1st day of tour started quite bad as our BUS BROKE DOWN while it was scaling Genting Highlands. It got overheated and we were stupidly stuck on the road for 2 over hours... We were really inn the middle of nowhere and everyone got really bored. Finally after almost 12 hours on the road, we finally reached our 1st hotel, AWANA Genting Highlands.

~Awana Resort... Looks like a Pagoda Rite?~

~ Love this shot!~

~Shaolin Showdown!... In Malaysia???~

I remembered the last time i was hear i was like in Primary School with my family and to my horror... the place looked exactly the same as how i remembered it sinced then. Meaning it looks still delapidated and un-updated with time... Stayed there for abt 3 days before we moved on to KL! well i have to say that i felt like a pig at Awana cos all three meals a day was buffet style and i kept gorging at the food! (Even when it was quite lousy yea... but i wanted to try EVERYTHING!) Anyway as i ahd said before i really didnt wanna go for this trip at 1st thus i didnt feel like takin any pictures, but by the 3rd day everything changed! Here i was snappinmg away like crazy. Then i started to appreciate everything i had around me. Well Awana has really nice lush greenery, if they updated their hotel i bet business could easily be much much better!

Anyway once that was done we proceeded down to KL for our performance. Well to me the performance wasnt the highlight but more of the time that i managed to spend with this great group of people! I tell you in KL i was like out on a mission to try the tastiest food in KL! My roommate was a local and he managed to use his family car so he started chauffeurin us around to try yummy food! I super enjoyed myself doing that since i am a foody! Hahaha! I had things like Bak Kut Teh, Bee tai Mak fried in claypot, Wanton Mee, Mango Special, Sago Lolo, Tiramisu, Bread and Butter Pudding, saw an AMAZING jazz band... Oh so fulfilling!

~ This is Yummy Bee tai Mak in Claypot, ok i honestly dunno the actual name for it so...~

~Ooh yummy Mango special... In it was Blended Mago with longans, watermelon and lots of Nata De Coco!~

~ The famous Bak Kut Teh.. OK i dunno if it was famous, but it was GOOD!~

~Look at the desserts, oh i was like in Heaven~

Oh ya and did i mention that the apartment we stayed in KL was so chic and cool! Loved it! Its run by the somerset group and everything inside the room is BRANDED! there is even a surround sound system ok? I was so stunned! (no such luxuries in Singapore sadly...) Best of all the hotel's colour tones are white, brown and guess wat? ORANGE!!! Oh i went crazy!!! haha!

~My apartment! (i wish!)~

~The bed was sooo Inviting!~

~Wish i could have smuggled that cushion back to Singapore!~

Oh yea did i mention i went clubbing? I dun even go clubbing in Singapore but actually went clubbing at Zouk in KL (like singapore dun have like that rite? So stupid...) But it was lots of fun!

~This was us on a HIGH after clubbing. Did u know that clubs there close at 3am? SO EARLY!~

Overall i had tons of fun! The only regret was not being able to eat Baskin Robbins (Thanks Huijun and Leslie for taunting me further... Bleah! Its ok, i ate in Phuket!)
So that was Malaysia which happened almost a month ago... Wow time really flies. OKie gotta prepare to go for Driving test soon... Catch up wif u guys again and hopefully it will be good news.
Au Revoir!

p.s. This was a real stupid sign that i saw whilst travelling on the road in Malaysia. No turn left, no turn right.. cant they just say go straight? Bleah!
