Time for my turn...
Ok peeps sorry once again for such a late Friday Fives...
Currently at Dash's house doing it as i have been soo busy with stuff... This is like the only opportunity for me to use the comp so far...
Over the weekend i was at my church choir's retreat over the weekend.
It went quite well but only had 1 hour of sleep!!! So came home home yesterday completely zonked out!
Ok... To be honest i've now come to realise that this week's Friday Fives is gonna be harder than expected as there are so many countries i do wanna visit in my lifetime, but no particular ones as yet that i would DIE to go... You know wat in mean? But i wil try my best
so here goes, Here are my Friday Fives!
In random order...
1. PUERTO RICO
This one was a no brainer for me... Actually, tell ya a secret... I found out abt this country's existence when i was a little boy watching Miss Universe pageant n went wow, their contestant is so CHIO!!! Then i continued to explore on the net n saw all the gorgeous photos of the country! (Not the GIRLS OK?!?!?) Anyway thus its been almost like a childhood dream to go visit there one day! (And see all the gorgeous beauties? Maybe i'll meet a Miss Universe winner there? Oooooo.... Mmmmmm...)
2. KENYA
Actually i wanted to say anywhere in Africa but i know Dash wil surely make a sarcastic COMMENT abt it... Well if ya all had known, my secondary school art project was to create a batik based on the influence of like african art, mixed with aboriginal art and indonesian art. Thus whilst looking through the pictures i was enticed to visit that continent one day. Why Kenya then? Well, in JC Geography under the topic of tourism, i remember having to study abt tourism in Kenya and the one place that i really wanna go n visit there is the Masai Mara Nature Reserve n see the wildlife n local tribesmen. It would be so amazing to get a chance to do that!
3. BRAZIL
Once again, i wanted to put any country in South America (again!), but well i guess u know the reason. I wanted to put Chile but i realised i dun really know much abt that country, then i wanted to put Venezuala cos i also would love to see the Angel Falls oncve in my lifetime, but then ppl will say i'm copying Dash! So now i back to beautiful Brazil. This is another one of those couhntries that i had to study in JC under economic geography. So of the arttractions would be Rio of cos! Just kicking back n embracing the sun and Brazil's colourful culture! Visiting Sugarloaf Mountain! n seeing the huge statue of Jesus with his hands reaching out to the people, would be an amazing sight to behold! But i would also one to go to the outskirts n the amazonian area to see the other side of Brazil many do not explore... the Untouched Wilderness!
4. INDIA
Becos Amazing Race has been there sooo mny times n it looks so cool amidst all the overpopulation, filthy streets, bountiful of street beggars etc... Wanna go see the Taj Mahal!!!!
I'm so JEALOUS DASH! You went FREE somemore!!!
5. ANTARTICA
I'd love to explore this area of the world that is drastically shrinking by the day due to the effects of global warming... As a geographer, u read sooo much abt it but u dun get to see the exact extent of its depletion. Wil definitly be a memorable experience! Bring on the POLAR BEARS & PENGUINS! WOOHOO!
