seattle part 1: tulip madness
GREETINGS!!!
Hope everyone had a great Easter.... Sigh, besides going to church, I spent my Easter day catching up with back-dated work! How eventful! Am now cramming for a midterm this thursday! I HATE TO CRAM! Am beginning to get over the massive inertia that's keeping me from work (aw... I so miss my spring break!). I keep telling myself "It's only 5 weeks... endure another 5 weeks! New York awaits.... HOME AWAITS!!!!" The wait can never be more painful! HAHA... but I know these few weeks will just zap by. I just know it....
Back to Spring Break.... After a very satisfying dim sum breakfast at Vancouver's Chinatown, we began our 2 hour drive back to Seattle. We stopped by Skagit (a small town in Washington) to visit what's reputed to be the Tulip Town of US. It was a long drive - from expressways, to really narrow countryside roads, but the journey was all worth it!!! The blossoming tulips are absolutely stunning... Breathtaking. I doubt the camera did justice to the view I saw with my own naked eye. Haha...

You probably don't know this (so did I). Washington state is the only place in the US that has acres and acres of tulip "farm". The next best place to catch these tulips will be at Europe... We were so lucky to be in time for the Tulip Festival! :)

plunging back on a white tulip bed! YIPPEEEEEE!

red tulips are the most gorgeous!

till the next update! :) All the best to those having exams this week, and study hard to those who'll be having their exams soon!
