Hey again guys!
Well today marks of a new activity that all of us can start to take part in.

Firstly, would like to say a BIG HELLO to my dear fren ASTRI!
Sorry to hear about Moto, stay strong yeah? justs remember never bear the guilt as everything that happens on earth happens for a reason and is beyond mankind's control.
Hope to meet up with ya very very soon...
This should be the first time you are viewing my clique's blog (p.s you are like one of the 1st few ppl i've ever told of this blog's existence! Honoured rite??? Hahaha)...
Haha its very boring wan, we all *bitch* about each other and talk about our very unadventurous lives. Thats why its called brothers without answers haha!
I also wanna say tat i've always LOVED reading FRIDAY FIVES on your blog.
SO INTERESTING!
And when i heard u wanted to start this with all your friends i was THRILLED to be a part of it!
:)
There is a total of 6 of us (my Bestest of friends!) sharing this blog so tot it will even more exciting for you to see 6 (hopefully, cos some of them RARELY blog... Ok guys, yeah yeah i know... i am guilty of it too! haha!) Friday Fives entries at the same time weekly.
And the very first FRIDAY FIVE topics is....
Drum roll please... ... ...

Top 5 Favorite Childhood Food!

1. Wafer Ice Cream!
- You know those where the lao ah pek will cycle to your neighbourhood and the minute he rings his bell, all the little kids will flock to him to buy yummy ice cream? (oh Drools!) My all time favourite is Rasberry Ripple flavour! It used to be sooo cheap, i tink like 50 cents can get one? I remember my daddy would SPOIL me rotten and everytime when the ah pek came he will bring me down for one, so much so that i had a mini asthma attack once and mum gave my dad a BIG telling off and banned me from it for a long long time! haha! (miss him lots!)
Nowadays the lao ah peks have retired and taken over by their mid aged sons haha! and they have upgraded to motorbikes already ok? But with modernisation comes a price cos they give less ice cream and charge $1 for each now!!! so sad...

2. Rabbit Sweet!

- Well many of my good frens know i dun really have a sweet tooth (esp chocolates... YUCKS!) but one particular sweet that i cannot resist since i was young has been the Rabbit Sweet! Yes i'm sure everyone is familiar with the rabbit picture on the wrapper and when u opened it there is like a layer of rice paper around the sweet. Then when u pop it into your mouth, the paper melts away and inside is a really creamy sweet. "oh to die for!"

3. Hashbrowns!
- You might not know but i used to be what my mum called a PARKWAY KID or MACDONALD'S KID! haha! Yup, about 3 times a week in primary school i would have to go to Parkway for either enrichment classes or tuition. And guess where is my fav hangout place.... well u guessed it? MACDONALDS! i remember that i could eat like 5 HASHBROWNS when i was younger. i would never buy them all at one shot. i would 1st buy one with a MEAL n then go back for one more, and another... and another... and another... THERE WAS NO STOPPING ME! (now u know why i was such a Fat Kid?!?!)

4.
Rou4 Sui4 Dan4 (Minced Meat Omelette) prepared by my Paternal Grandma
- This one required me quite a while to think of and even the assistance of my mum before i could figure this one out... (well mum said i was never a fussy eater and ate almost anything thats why nothing in particular... Haha! again, that explains further my size when i was young!) My grandma was a damn good cook and i remember that i especially LOVED the Egg. It was simple to make but yet delicious! just egg, minced meat and some chives. Simply Perfection*! well... guess thats what has spurred my love affair with eggs till today haha! NEVER ENUFF OF IT!

5. Nasi Lemak
- And the best for last... Nasi Lemak from the coffeeshop at my old house! oh how i loved the fragant rice, egg (see, more of it!) and luncheon meat! The key to how my family eats it is with LOTS AND LOTS OF DAO YOU SAUCE (black soy sauce)!!! The blacker the better... hehe... My maternal grandpa will painstaking walk down to the coffeeshop and buy my bro and i each a pack from this really really FAT auntie who sold it for our lunch. i never left a single grian of the rice left on my plate. YUM YUM! so sad she moved out when the coffeshop got renovated. We know where her new stall is but the last time we tasted it, it was just not the sam
e. Haiz... so sad...

Oh this brought back so many nice memories of my childhood. Am so craving for anyone of it now... Ok guys now is your turn to join in the fun! Enjoy!
