seattle part 3: a school, a musuem and a needle
Hello folks!
3 more weeks of school left!!!! The wait is driving me bonkers! It's been pleasantly warm the past few days. Finally stepped out of house today in berms and sandals ever since like Oct'06??? And Farmer's Market is back in business again! So a few friends and I went to the Capitol area to check out the market and to have brunch today. Wa, never knew a simple walk like this could be so uplifting. But the sad reality, DEADLINES, DEADLINES AND MORE DEADLINES! Gah!!! Spent the whole afternoon watching Singaporean films... 4 films in a row. It's Singapore Film Festival this weekend and today, we aired "Autograph Book", "I Not Stupid 2", "15" (super disturbing film) and "One More Chance" (ending was super lame). I assume that Qing and Elvin are done with exams? What about Rey and Jared??? Make some noise? And Weibin, where are you??
And now, to end off my Seattle trip...
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

FLIGHT OF THE FUTURE

Yup, the world's largest building by volume is the very place where the all the world's Boeing aircrafts are made. The whole assembly line was such so magnificent... The wonders of air travel and technology! Without them, I wouldn't even be here!
SPACE NEEDLE - The peak of Seattle

Seattle's skyline... See Mt Ranier looming behind??? Nice right? ;P
I'm sure you've heard about the Virginia Tech mass shooting... It's BIG news here. Meanwhile, let's keep them all in prayer.
till then,
