pre-exam update

someone actually told me this blog is now my 'sounding board'.... whatever happened to the rest of you guys??? i wonder why the person who is supposedly the most busy now and ought to be fretting over the upcoming exams is here blogging, while the others, done with their exams are not even making a squeak here! *clucks my tongue in disapproval*

today: i woke up this morning, heated up the oven, tossed in a couple of frozen bread, and happily forgot about them... there goes my breakfast. :(
thursday night: caught carrie underwood live in concert in Madison.... she's absolutely stunning and my, what power lungs/voice she has. i would have enjoyed the concert more if it were after my exams...
wednesday: yes, it's snowing cats and dogs here in Madison. i'm so NOT a fan.......
sometime before thanksgiving: 3 months of work... and i managed to grow my crystal!!! yippie... :D *beams with a megawatt smile* and i'm hoping a crystal of another compound that i made will crystallize out soon too!
thanksgiving in boston, MA: i had a great time in boston - all thanks to mywonderful hosts, sarah and keng.... the food in boston is so good i feel like i'm eating crap here in madison - esp the chinese food!!! argh.... anyhow, my grastronomic cravings were gratified and i left boston a happy man!
touching john harvard's shoe.... it is said that one will definitely get into Harvard if he touches this statue. we'll see. ;p
MIT dome manage to catch my michael chan just before my flight the next day. he's on an exchange at MIT this year. good stuff!
