my thanks: part 2 of 5
"Class stand!"
"G-o-o-d Morn--ing Mr Wong" (the sleepy draggy and unwilling tone we used to greet our teachers with...)
Boy I am feeling a little groggy now, having slept barely 3 hours this morning and lasted through the night for an overnight prayer watch.
First of all, my heartiest congratulations to you on your award and kudos for aspiring to be Mr GTJ, (Great Teacher Jared) YOU ARE MY IDOL!!! hahaha... I'm gonna let Mrs Heng read this and I bet she'll be real touched and encouraged when she reads your entry. Indeed, this award didn't come by chance but it's an open door that God has opened and provided for you. And I pray that you'll never lose heart in nurturing and mentoring our future generation. Continue to use your gifts that God has blessed you with to be that vessel of blessing to others, and I can't describe how you've been such a great blessing to me. You will be sorely missed when I leave for the States!!! *sob*
You for one has such a cheerful, mellifluous voice (even Aunty Jenny says you've a DJ voice) that never fails to uplift me when I feel low. And our telephone hours 'mileage' - erhem - you know what I mean... ;p I missed all those long-hour conversations we had over the phone, and we seem to be able to talk about almost anything under the sun, even up till today, I still receive occasional phonecalls from yo
u, showing your care and concern.
What impresses me most about you is your ability to always put the welfare of others above yours in any circumstance, and you'll always bear the brunt of it all than to have others "suffer" with you. On top of that, you are a very filial kid - my role model. ;X You are a gem! Your future girlfriend will be a lucky lucky girl!!! Jia you! Speaking of girlfriends, I'll miss your favourite question that you almost never fail to ask when we go out together, "So are you attached???" *LoL*
I've known you for the longest in this clique and it's impossible for me to detail all the wonderful memories, and I've never failed to give thanks for all the times we had - you will always be remembered in my prayers. Seriously, I'm not afraid that our friendship will become cold even after I leave for the States and you know why? Coz I know it never will. N-E-V-E-R! :)
And to everyone reading this,
a HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!
cheers,
dash
